UoS collaborates with the SCFA in scientific study

Sharjah 24: The University of Sharjah, represented by the Vice Chancellor's Office for Scientific Research and Graduate Studies and the Research Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences, signed a contract with the Cultural and Media Office of the Sharjah's Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) to carry out a field analytical study titled "The role of digital media in shaping values of the in the Emirate of Sharjah."
Salha Obaid Ghabish, Head of the Cultural and Media Office of Sharjah's Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA), Muammar Beltayeb, Vice Chancellor for Scientific Research and Graduate Studies at the University of Sharjah, and Prof. Fakir AL Gharaibeh, Director of Research Institute of Humanities & Social Sciences (RIHSS), all attended the signing ceremony.
 
"We at the University of Sharjah are working under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council Ruler of Sharjah, and the President of the University of Sharjah to focus on purposeful scientific research," said Prof. Dr. Muammar Beltayeb, who welcomed the collaboration with Sharjah's Supreme Council for Family Affairs.
 
"This collaboration is seen as a complement to the university's previous programs, events, and workshops for the council's institutions, as well as consultations in the fields of literary and scientific awards, research preparation, and awareness promotion," said Salha Obaid Ghabish, Head of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs' Cultural and Media Office in Sharjah. “We are pleased to have this research collaboration opportunity with the University of Sharjah's Research Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences. Today's signing of the agreement is a significant step toward better cooperation between the two institutions.", she added.
 
Prof. Dr Faker Gharaibeh, Director of the Research Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences, praised all those who contribute to the study's success, emphasizing the enormous advantage that this collaboration will bring to society.
