Sharjah24: Ismael Touq , Director of Sharjah Open Innovation Lab at Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park (SRTI Park) has expressed his pleasure on the organisation of a summer camp and workshops that allow school students in the country to explore new topics and learn innovative future skills through workshops specialised in design processes.
In an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, he pointed out, “Here at the summer camp we have great number of students who have participated from different schools in UAE to learn more about 3D printing, design, robotics, programing and many different skills that enable students to become future designers, engineers, and scientists”
He added that the program will run until the end of August, stressing the continuation to teach these talented students new skills and techniques.
Concluding his statement, he has lauded the huge success of the summer program, stressing that there is a high demand to continue organising such kind of workshops. He added,” We are developing an after school program and also a weekend program for the school students to be able to participate at the lab and learn new technologies and build their own products and hope that they will be the future inventors.”
