Sharjah 24: His Excellency Hussain Mohammed Al Mahmoudi, CEO of Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park (SRTIP), announced the launch of the activities of the third edition of the Global Forum "Women in the Technology".

His Excellency expressed happiness for the SRTIP's hosting of the activities of the third edition of the forum, which aims to highlight the role of women in technology, especially with the forum coinciding with the International Women's Day.

He added to “Sharjah 24” that the forum is reviewing three vital topics that support the national economy. The first topic deals with vital sciences and related technologies, the second topic deals with the topic of digital currencies, while the third topic deals with the topic of augmented reality and virtual reality technologies.

Al Mahmoudi indicated that a number of senior officials from different countries of the world and a group of prominent leading personalities of researchers, specialists, thought leaders, representatives from international organisations in science, advocates of women's empowerment and a number of women entrepreneurs, in addition to directors of a number of government entities and representatives, will participate in the forum.
