Sharjah24: Ibrahim Al Jarwan, a member of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences and a researcher in astronomy and meteorology, indicated that the UAE is currently living in the winter season, which is divided among Arabs into three main sections.
Ibrahim Al Jarwan said in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", that the first period at the beginning of winter is on December 7, and in the middle of winter begins in mid-January, then comes the last winter, which is starts from February 9 to the beginning of April.
 
Al Jarwan added that it is normal for temperatures to vary from one season to another, and we expect that a cold wave will come in the coming days, like the last wave, and this frost comes every year in a different way, as in some years the winter comes with very cold and sometimes moderate cold.
 
The researcher in astronomy and meteorology confirmed that in the past 80 years, the country has witnessed more than 17 years, the rate of rain in Sharjah is less than 50 millimeters, and the annual average of rain in Sharjah is about 103 millimeters per year.
