Sharjah International Chess Cup for Women kicks off

Sharjah 24: The first Sharjah International Cup for Women was held virtually Thursday, with the participation of more than 300 players representing 64 countries, including 186 world titles.

The championship was organised by the Sharjah Ladies Chess and Cultural Club, under the patronage of the Sharjah Sports Council and the Sharjah Women’s Sports.

Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, and Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Aziz Al Mualla, Chairman of the Sharjah Cultural and Chess Club, attended the launch.
