Sharjah and Book, endless sustainable relationship

Sharjah24: Over the past years, we have been working honestly, sincerely and consistently to establish intimacy between Sharjah on the one side, and the book and knowledge on the other side.
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, said at receiving the flag of Sharjah, World Book Capital 2019 event. 

Sharjah and Book, inseparable twins, an old, continuous relationship that does not decrease but increases every day with every letter written by printers, every book celebrated by the markets and every reading session for an insatiable reader who is not stopping from broadening his mind, with this short great sentences, Sharjah Ruler briefed the relentless works during decades in the relationship of Sharjah with the Book.  

His Highness highlighted during his speech the excellence reasons of the emirate of Sharjah in its incessant endeavor of knowledge and learning march, in which honesty at work, continuity of implementing programme have adopted by the emirate of Sharjah to carry out its strategy in accordance with appropriate study. Sharjah Ruler added, in spite of long time, the fruitful result has been harvested in accordance with the Islam concepts, which urge us to read from the day of birth until the life ends. 

Sharjah Ruler emphasised during his speech that the knowledge programme and the continues development of the relationship of Sharjah with Book was not limited to a specific category, but included all components of Sharjah, including people and places, as many institutions and clubs in the emirate of Sharjah support and evaluate the book, exhibitions, library, reading festivals. The same is true with people including children, youth, elderly, women, men, employee and student who reflect the success relationship of Sharjah with book as a top excellence which the emirate of Sharjah has achieved during decades.
