Sharjah 24: Dr. Sheikh Saeed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan visited Saturday the Sharjah Police Desert Park where he was welcomed by col. Khalid Al Zarouni, chairman of the Sharjah Police Desert Park’s organising committee who briefed Sheikh Tahnoon about Sharjah Police’s initiative of establishing the park.
Sheikh Tahnoon hailed the initiative and commended Sharjah Police’s keenness to bring happiness to its associates and their families. He also praised the organisers.
For his part, Colonel Khalid Al Zarouni indicated that the fourth edition of the park, kicked off on December 16, witnessed a great turnout from the families of Sharjah police employees and members of the public, saying that the number of visitors at the end of its third week has reached 75 thousand and is expected to rise especially with the approaching date of the end of this edition on January 10.
