Sharjah Ruler: I know names, details of all the emirate's regions

Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah stressed that he knew the names and details of all the areas of the Emirate of Sharjah since his childhood, as he started to wander all over it since His Highness was 4 years old, explaining the meanings of some new names for the areas announced by the Department of Planning and Survey in the emirate on March 10.
This came in an intervention on the "Direct Line" (Al Khat Al Mubasher) programme broadcasted via Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA), with the journalist Mohamed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority . His Highness added that he has renamed the areas of "Al Suyoh 9 to Al Suyoh 16" to "Al Morida 1 to Al Morida 8", noting that the one who gave this name to this area was the father of His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed bin Saqr bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Rashid Al Qasimi, may God have mercy on him. During the intervention, His Highness has explained the details of His Highness’ trip with his father, during which his father named it Al Morida, a place to where people frequently come.
Speaking about the "Kashisha" and " Shaghrafa " areas, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah said: "This spot extends from Emirates Road to the Umm Fannin area, and it contains two areas, one with a lot of trees growing on them called “Kashisha” and the other one was tree empty area called “Shaghrafa ”, describing the details of how the areas got their names from their appearances.
