Sharjah24: Within the framework of the programmes and activities of the Deanship of Student Affairs, Al Qasimia University (AQU) organised an educational lecture targeting university students, out of the university’s keenness to enhance and activate preventive aspects and spread knowledge culture to ensure the provision of a healthy and appropriate environment in the university environment.
The lecture was organised Thursday through the implementation of the electronic Zoom programme in the framework of preserving students' health and dealt with the title (hygiene and its impact on health) and was presented by Dr. Muhammad Khair Nimer Al Shara, a family doctor at the University of Sharjah Medical Center.
Through its topics, the lecture aimed to educate students about aspects of preserving public health, especially to prevent the repercussions of the Coronavirus, to stay away from health problems that threaten public health, and to provide advice on the aspects of sound steps for good health.
At the conclusion of the lecture, the lecturer emphasised the importance of awareness raising, which reduces health care costs and sick visits to the doctor, hospital and clinics.
