Sharjah24: Prof. Awwad Al Khalaf, Acting President of Al Qasimia University (AQU) inaugurated the Used Book Exhibition at the University's headquarters in Sharjah on Tuesday morning, in the presence of Mona Abdul Karim Al Yafei, Director of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS).
The inauguration was attended by Prof. Mahmoud Al-Darabsa, Acting Dean of Student Affairs, a number of the university’s professor, cadres and staff, along with a number of students.
The exhibition is one of the cooperation aspects between Al Qasimia University and Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, with the aim of serving students in their educational journey.
Prof. Awwad Al Khalaf toured with the attendees throughout the exhibition with taking into account the application of precautions measures to preserve public safety
For his part, Prof. Awwad Al Khalaf, affirmed the deep value of the exhibition as the valued meanings of the book for students to broaden their minds and support the core of gaining knowledge in their educational march.
The Acting President of Al Qasimia University welcomed the effective cooperation with SCHS in organising such an exhibition which contributes to support students in their educational journey.
