Sharjah 24: Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRED), affirmed that the Flag Day represents a major national occasion that raises the values of loyalty to the march of a great country under its leadership and people, which is founded by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
He added that the Flag Day is an occasion to renew covenant to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah; Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates, as well as the loyal people of the UAE, so that the nation’s flag remains a symbol of the country’s achievements in various fields.
Al Shamsi continued that the Country’s celebration of Flag Day embodies the meanings of true unity and solidarity among Emiratis, an opportunity to instill love and loyalty to the nation in the hearts of the citizens, and an important occasion that reminds all of the day on which the UAE united under one flag, stressing that the Flag Day initiative has become an annual event that everyone awaits to express their love and appreciation for the country and its wise leadership.
