Sharjah 24: As part of the 20th edition of the Sharjah International Narrator Forum (SINF), the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) organised Al Rawi Cultural Cafe in the Khorfakkan Heritage Village with focus on the narrators' knowledge and oral narratives.
Dr. Mini Buna’ama, Director of the Content and Publishing Department at the SIH, said that the first session of Al Rawi focused on folk narratives and their impact on preserving heritage, while the second session dealt with the busy journey of the narrator over 20 years.
In an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, he explained that the café reviewed the controls of documenting, verifying and scrutinising narratives, as well as comprehensively throwing light on the personal museums located in the heritage village in Khorfakkan, considering them a very important heritage tributary due to their richness and diversity that chronicle and document life in the past.
