Sharjah24: On Saturday, the Sharjah Art Foundation reopened the Flying Saucer building after its restoration, in addition to the opening of the exhibition "Nowhere Less Than Now 3", by artists Lindsay Seers and Keith Sargent.
Sheikha Nawar Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Art Foundation, explained that the Flying Saucer building is open to the public free of charge, after being restored, and tickets are purchased through the foundation's official website, noting that it is one of the emirate's landmarks that have existed since the seventies. In statements to "Sharjah 24", Sheikha Nawar Al Qasimi indicated that the building contains a showroom, in addition to an underground floor that includes several facilities, including: a library, a café, spaces for workshops and events, and cinema screens. She added that the building hosts the exhibition "Nowhere Less Than Now 3", which talks about the history of English colonialism and the artist's relationship with it.
