Sharjah24: The Sharjah Directorate of Public Works (SDPW) has completed a project of establishing the Grand Touristic Restaurant in Al Hisn Island, Dibba Al Hisn, with a total cost of around 10 million Dhs.
Engineer Ali Saeed bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, Chairman of SDPW, stressed that the cities of the Eastern Region of the Emirate of Sharjah are witnessing a remarkable development in the projects sector, thanks to the direct directives and follow-up by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Eng. Mohammed bin Yarouf, Director at SPWD explained that the restaurant is a two-storey building with a total area of 1200 sqm, where the ground level includes a dining area and an outdoor seating area with a capacity of 70 people, a kitchen, toilets, and a storage, while the upper level includes a preparation area and an outdoor area with a capacity of 115 people, in addition to the outside interlock and shaded areas.
