SM launches a gate for sterilisation imported livestock

Sharjah24: Sharjah Municipality (SM) has launched a gate for sterilisation livestock coming through Khalid Seaport the first of its kind, in line with its continuous efforts to preserve the health and safety of consumers.
The Transportation Department has designed an innovative gate for spraying livestock against external parasites, using recycled materials, similar to sterilisation gates previously designed and implemented by the administration, which are currently used in municipal buildings and centers, and the Transportation Department has provided the public health sector and central laboratories with the portal for spraying livestock in the quarry and before circulation in the markets. His Excellency Thabet Al Tarifi, Director General of the Sharjah Municipality, stressed that the municipality is keen to take all necessary preventive measures to provide its services in the optimal way, within a suitable health environment, and sterilisation and disinfection work for all buildings and centers affiliated to it, where the municipality launched through the transportation department about 12 gates have been distribute them to the municipal buildings and centers. Sheikha Shatha Al Mualla, Assistant Director General of the Public Health Sector and Central Laboratories, stated that this gate aims to provide the highest health standards in the municipality.
