During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the latest developments at the university, its key academic programmes and projects, and met the university’s newly appointed vice presidents, wishing them success in their duties.

His Highness stressed the importance of continuing to develop higher education and supporting academic initiatives that contribute to preparing national talent and enhancing the role of educational institutions in the development process.

His Highness also highlighted the attention and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, towards the education sector, and his keenness to support educational institutions and develop their outcomes in line with the emirate’s aspirations.

For his part, Dr Sulaiman Al Jassim and the university’s vice presidents expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Crown Prince of Fujairah for his support and follow-up of the university’s progress, affirming their commitment to continuing to develop academic work and enhancing the university’s role in serving the community.
