In a statement released Wednesday, Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy slammed the military action as provocative and unjustified. He accused Israel of deliberately attempting to stoke chaos and widen conflict zones across Syria and Lebanon to serve domestic political agendas at the expense of broader regional stability.

Fahmy urged the international community and the UN Security Council to step up, fulfill their responsibilities, and pressure Israel into halting the assaults. He further cautioned that unchecked escalation threatens to plunge the region deeper into violence and instability.
