After a scoreless first half, Al Jazira broke the deadlock shortly after the break when Simon Banza found the back of the net in the 48th minute. Ali Al Maamari sealed the result deep into stoppage time, scoring in the 93rd minute to put the match out of reach.

The clean-sheet victory earns Al Jazira their first three points of the season, while Hatta looks to bounce back as they remain scoreless and winless in the early standings.
