Global recognition for the EmaraTax Platform

Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Mulla, Director-General of the FTA, accepted the award at the authority’s Dubai headquarters during a meeting with SAP representatives, alongside Abdulla Al Bastaki, CEO of the Information Technology Sector, and other officials from both organizations.

The FTA noted that the award underscores the impact of the EmaraTax platform, which has been continuously enhanced with cutting-edge tax technologies in partnership with global consulting firm Invenio. Serving as a benchmark for sustainable digital tax administration, the platform houses a comprehensive Corporate Tax system with over 742,000 registered users, empowering taxpayers to manage obligations efficiently, transparently, and accurately.

Al Mulla attributed the achievement to the dedication of the FTA team and their relentless pursuit of operational excellence. He explained that the authority follows a comprehensive innovation strategy designed to achieve global leadership in tax administration by streamlining procedures, accelerating service delivery, and fostering an institutional culture centered on creativity.

Abdulla Al Bastaki highlighted that EmaraTax has bolstered confidence in the Corporate Tax system by processing high transaction volumes with a 99.5% success rate during peak filing periods, all while maintaining seamless integration with digital services across relevant government entities. Alan Hunt, CEO of Invenio, added that the accolade reflects a powerful fusion of vision, collaboration, and execution that has delivered a flexible, future-ready platform supporting the UAE's long-term growth.

The FTA continues to regularly update EmaraTax to expand its digital service offerings. Through the platform, users can seamlessly handle VAT, Excise Tax, and Corporate Tax procedures—including registration, return filings, liability settlements, refund processing, and reconsideration requests—anytime and anywhere.
