Australia stun Turkey 2-0 in World Cup group phase

Sharjah 24 – AFP: Australia produced an inspired peformance to beat Turkey 2-0 in the group phase of the World Cup on Saturday.

Nestory Irankunda opened the scoring with a superb 27th-minute goal and Connor Metcalfe doubled Australia's lead in the second half in Vancouver.
