Sharjah24: The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has announced the exclusion of Real Betis winger Abde Ezzalzouli and Marseille defender Nayef Aguerd from Morocco's squad for the FIFA World Cup finals due to injury.

According to the FIFA website, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has replaced Ezzalzouli and Aguerd with Angers left winger Amine Sebai and Al Fateh defender Marouane Saadane.

Details of the injuries

Ezzalzouli suffered a sprain to his right knee during first-half stoppage time in Morocco's international friendly against Norway, which ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday in New Jersey.

Meanwhile, Aguerd has been sidelined since March after undergoing surgery to treat persistent groin pain, which prevented him from participating with his club during the final stages of the league season.
