Advancing defence systems and readiness

The council reviewed progress on key initiatives aimed at upgrading the UAE’s defence architecture, maximising efficiency, and enhancing operational readiness in alignment with the Ministry of Defence’s strategic vision. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan emphasised the vital importance of continuously evolving national defense frameworks to meet the highest international standards, stressing that strengthening multi-sector readiness remains critical to safeguarding national security and protecting the nation’s milestones.

Modernisation and strategic projects

Discussions also focused on comprehensive development and modernisation plans across various defense sectors, specifically highlighting initiatives to boost operational capabilities and upgrade both human and technical resources. Additionally, the council evaluated future-focused projects designed to support the long-term priorities of the Ministry of Defence.

The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, and Lt. General Staff Ibrahim Nasser Al Alawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence, alongside several senior officers from the UAE Armed Forces.
