The newest iteration introduces upgraded categories that align with innovation, excellence, and the UAE’s future economic vision. This year's framework reflects the nation's human-centric approach to development, especially with 2026 designated as the Year of Family.
The award spans four main categories and multiple sub-categories designed to spotlight best practices in market sustainability and innovation. These include Emirati Entrepreneurs, Leading Global Companies in the UAE, Digital Transformation Drivers, Outstanding Workforce Protection Schemes, Family-Friendly Work Environment, Talent Empowerment Partners, Industry Champions, and Workforce Wellbeing. Special emphasis is also being placed on individual talent across various professions, honoring outstanding figures in fields such as Influential Leaders, Future Skills and Technical Competencies, Corporate Support and Craft Professionals, Frontline Occupations and Support Services Staff, and Family Caregivers and Specialised Care Providers.
As the first initiative of its kind in the UAE, the award remains dedicated to recognising exceptional private-sector businesses and workers while highlighting successful corporate practices across all economic sectors.
Dr Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Chairman of the Award Supervisory Committee, stated that the initiative continues to bolster competitiveness and excellence within the UAE labor market through a forward-looking vision rooted in creativity. He noted that the ongoing patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan has been vital to expanding the award's impact and establishing it as a premier platform for professional leadership.
Al Awar added that the award has matured into a pioneering model that fosters future economic growth, encourages high governance standards, and promotes workplace transparency and integrity. He expressed confidence that the fourth edition would see strong participation from both enterprises and individuals, offering a valuable space to share expertise and scale innovative business models. He also extended his appreciation to the award's sponsors for their continued commitment to elevating the efficiency of the national workforce.
To incentivise applicants, the fourth edition offers a valuable suite of rewards. Companies securing first place will be elevated to the first category of MoHRE’s classification system, unlocking significant discounts on institutional service fees. Top-performing businesses will also receive Diamond-tier customer service, granting them priority support and dedicated administrative assistance. For individual winners, cash prizes have been set at AED100,000 for first place, AED75,000 for second place, and AED50,000 for third place.
Applications are being accepted from eligible companies and individuals via the official award website through August 31, 2026. All submissions will be rigorously vetted by specialised evaluation committees based on established excellence and governance criteria.
