The Ministry stated that the period from 15 to 19 June 2026 will be allocated for the submission of final assignments and projects for Group B subjects for students in Grades 5 to 12. During the same period, the School-Based Assessment (SSA) final evaluation will be conducted for Grades 3 and 4 in all subjects, replacing the centralised end-of-third-term examinations for the 2025–2026 academic year for those two grades.
The Ministry explained that examinations for students in Grades 5 to 12 across all educational streams in government and private schools will be conducted electronically through in-person attendance at school. It also confirmed that a written electronic examination will be administered for the English language subject for Grade 12 students.
MoE further stated that Grade 12 students enrolled in private schools that implement the Ministry of Education curriculum will sit all their examinations in government general education schools. This will be carried out under joint supervision and coordination with the Ministry’s School Operations Sector.
The Ministry urged students to bring their personal computers to school during the examination period.
