UAE reviews Ebola developments and national preparedness

Sharjah 24: The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) and the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention have reviewed the latest regional and international developments related to the Ebola virus as part of ongoing efforts to maintain high public health preparedness and protect community safety.

The coordination meeting was chaired by HE Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of Health and Prevention, in cooperation with NCEMA and attended by relevant government entities and strategic partners.

UAE confirms stable health situation and ongoing readiness

The meeting focused on current epidemiological updates and the country’s readiness measures, with authorities confirming that the public health situation in the UAE remains stable.

Officials stressed that the UAE’s health preparedness and response systems remain active and effective, ensuring continued monitoring and rapid response capability to any developments.
