Shenzhou-21 crew returns to Earth after 210-day space mission

Sharjah 24 -AFP: China’s Shenzhou-21 mission crew returned safely to Earth on Friday evening aboard the Shenzhou-22 spacecraft, successfully concluding a historic 210-day orbital journey. The landing capsule touched down at the Dongfeng landing site in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, according to official reports from the Xinhua News Agency.

Landmark space mission declared a success as astronauts touch down

Following the successful recovery of the vehicle, the China Manned Space Agency confirmed that all three astronauts are in excellent health and declared the entire operation a complete success. The deployment marked the longest continuous stay in orbit for a Chinese crew to date. Throughout their seven-month deployment aboard China's space station, the astronauts executed a demanding schedule that featured multiple spacewalks, essential equipment installations, routine technical inspections, and extensive cargo management operations.
