ERC said its volunteer teams worked throughout the Eid holiday to ensure the smooth distribution of sacrificial meat across all emirates, delivering assistance directly to beneficiaries in their respective locations.
The organisation noted that the project was implemented overseas amid difficult humanitarian conditions, including economic hardship, ongoing crises, natural disasters, food shortages and rising living costs.
According to ERC, growing humanitarian needs prompted the expansion of the initiative’s beneficiary base outside the UAE, allowing the project to reach more than 500,000 people in cooperation with its international partners.
ERC praised the generosity of donors and benefactors whose contributions helped broaden the scope of the campaign and increase the number of beneficiaries both inside and outside the UAE.
