Saif bin Zayed meets French Justice Minister to boost cooperation

Sharjah 24 – WAM: Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, received Gérald Darmanin, Minister of Justice of the French Republic, along with his delegation, in Abu Dhabi, highlighting the strengthening of friendship and cooperation between the UAE and France.

Strengthening bilateral relations

At the start of the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Saif welcomed the French Minister, emphasising the robust relations between the two nations and their mutual commitment to developing partnerships in police, legal, and security fields to ensure security and stability in both countries.

Discussing cooperation in legal and security fields

The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation and coordination in the legal and judicial sectors, exchanging expertise, and leveraging advanced technologies and artificial intelligence to combat transnational organized crime.

Addressing regional and international challenges

Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international matters related to crime prevention and the promotion of justice.
