Sharjah24: Egyptian singer Angham expressed her delight at taking part in the opening night of the “Hala Khorfakkan 2025” festival, organised by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau at the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre. She said performing before the city’s audience holds special meaning for her, given Khorfakkan’s unique cultural and touristic character.
A special return to Khorfakkan’s iconic stage
The Sharjah Government Media Bureau launched the first evening of “Hala Khorfakkan 2025” on Saturday at the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre, attracting a large turnout of Arab music enthusiasts. Angham headlined the night, performing a selection of her most famous songs in an event aimed at supporting the artistic scene and reinforcing Khorfakkan’s status as a prominent cultural and tourist destination.
Angham explained that this year marks her second participation in “Hala Khorfakkan”, following her first appearance in 2020. She noted that returning to perform on the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre stage is a significant milestone in her career, thanks to the venue’s distinctive ambience, organisation, and intimate connection between artist and audience.
Speaking to Sharjah 24, Angham affirmed that Khorfakkan has become a leading destination for cultural and artistic events, contributing through “Hala Khorfakkan” to strengthening the presence of Arabic music and offering audiences high-quality artistic experiences. She said this reflects the strong support Sharjah provides to art and creativity.
The Egyptian star added that the architectural design of the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre enables performers to feel close to their audience, creating a direct and engaging atmosphere. She noted that the venue’s sound distribution ensures consistent clarity for all attendees, giving artists greater comfort on stage and enhancing the overall audio-visual experience for the audience.
