Shurooq unveils promising opportunities across four sectors

Sharjah 24: Ahmed Obaid Al Qasir, the CEO of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), shared that the 8th Sharjah Investment Forum brought together 29 organizations from around the world and featured 130 speakers, including influential leaders and decision-makers in the economy. The forum included over 160 events and took place alongside the World Investment Forum at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre.

In an interview with “Sharjah 24,” Al Qasir mentioned that Shurooq showcased a variety of projects and investment opportunities in four main areas: real estate, hospitality, entertainment, and culture. He highlighted that Sharjah's mix of different sectors and strong infrastructure makes it an appealing place for businesses to grow and forge partnerships.

He noted that the forum serves as a platform for direct communication between global investors and both government and private organizations. This setup helps create lasting partnerships and develop solutions for funding and operations that ensure projects remain viable while also promoting the exchange of knowledge and innovative ideas in Sharjah.

Al Qasir concluded by stressing that Shurooq’s role in the forum aligns with a broader goal to encourage investments, diversify the economy, and strengthen Sharjah’s reputation as a safe and attractive place for businesses—key to driving growth in exciting new sectors.
