SDAL launches initiative to boost farmers’ market access

Dr Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Department, stated that the meeting aimed to build bridges of cooperation between farmers and the private sector under government supervision to ensure effective integration.

He explained that the meeting produced proposals and a practical partnership model, with the participation of municipal authorities, to improve the marketing of farmers’ products and ensure stable distribution in major markets.

The initiative will create a sustainable link between public and private sectors, strengthen local food security, and support the economy.
