Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, held a telephone conversation on Saturday with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss recent regional developments, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Review of high-level Palestine Conference

During the call, the two leaders reviewed the outcomes of the High-level International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, which was co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and France.

Preparations for upcoming summit-level conference

They also discussed preparations for the upcoming summit-level resumption of the conference, scheduled for September 22, in line with ongoing joint efforts to end the war in Gaza, achieve lasting peace, and establish an independent Palestinian state.

Adoption of the New York Declaration

The conversation highlighted the adoption of the New York Declaration, which was issued by the conference and endorsed by a majority at the United Nations General Assembly, reaffirming international support for peace efforts in the region.
