Sharjah Club triumphs in Junior Table Tennis Championship

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Club clinched the top spot in the Sharjah Sports Council Table Tennis Championship for Junior and Junior Teams, hosted at the club’s Al Hazana branch. The championship featured strong competition from across the emirate, with Sharjah dominating both categories.

Championship standings

In the Junior Championship, Al Dhaid Club secured second place, while Khorfakkan Club came in third. In the Junior Team category, Al Madam Club finished second, with Al Dhaid Club claiming third.

Officials crown the winners

The winners were honoured in a ceremony attended by Jassim Al Doukhi, Head of the Individual Games Department, along with Khaled Ghabash and Samir George, Table Tennis Specialist from the Council’s Sports Affairs and Development Department.

Six clubs, fifty participants

A total of 50 players from six clubs participated: Sharjah, Al Bataeh, Dibba Al Hisn, Al Dhaid, Khorfakkan, and Al Madam. The event forms part of the council's broader plan to prepare for the upcoming Junior League season, which kicks off on September 20.
