35 new Dubai judges sworn in before Mohammed bin Rashid

Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, presided over the swearing-in of 35 newly appointed judges at Dubai Courts. The event was held at Al Mudaif Majlis in Union House, Dubai.

Emphasis on justice and judicial integrity

During the ceremony, Sheikh Mohammed wished the new judges success in their duties and highlighted the critical importance of justice, integrity, and the rule of law. He reiterated that an independent judiciary is key to ensuring social stability and protecting individual rights.

Role of judges in national development

His Highness emphasised the pivotal role of judges in delivering justice and supporting national development. He noted that fair and transparent rulings help create a society built on trust, prosperity, and the rule of law.

Judges reaffirm commitment to justice

The newly appointed judges expressed their appreciation for the leadership’s trust and affirmed their dedication to upholding the principles of justice.

Senior officials in attendance

The ceremony was attended by Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director General of H.H. The Dubai Ruler’s Court and Deputy Chairman of the Judicial Council; Dr Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director General of Dubai Courts; and Dr Abdullah Saif Al Sabousi, Secretary-General of the Dubai Judicial Council.
