The initiative reflects AQU commitment to its community mission and its strategy to promote university health.
The platform aims to raise health awareness among female students and educate them on sound preventive practices, contributing to promoting a healthy lifestyle on and off campus.
This unique initiative is part of the university's ongoing efforts to support educational and health activities. The platform focuses on raising awareness of the risks of heat exhaustion and sunstroke during the summer, as well as the importance of drinking water and a balanced diet, and encouraging students to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle.
The platform was widely welcomed by female students, whereas free medical tests, including blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol measurement were provided under the supervision of a specialised medical team from the Ministry of Health.
The event was held in an interactive atmosphere characterised by care and positive interaction.
To encourage students to adopt healthy habits, symbolic gifts were distributed in a stimulating learning environment, reflecting the university's commitment to providing a comprehensive environment that takes into account the mental and physical health of female students.
Ahlam Bin Jarsh, Assistant Chancellor for Female Student Affairs, emphasised that the initiative is part of a series of programmes through which AQU seeks to consolidate the concept of a health-promoting university.
Bin Jarsh noted that the health platform embodies the university's vision of educating female students about the importance of health prevention and building sustainable health behaviours, in line with the university's values and mission to prepare a conscious and responsible generation.
Bin Jarsh noted that, through these events, AQU continues to consolidate its position as a leading educational institution that combines academic excellence with comprehensive care for the health and safety of students. This contributes to raising the quality of educational life on campus and serves the goals of sustainable development and public health for students.
