Sharjah 24 – AFP: Iranian airspace will remain closed until 2 p.m. local time (10:30 GMT) on Wednesday, even though a ceasefire with Israel has taken effect, according to Iran's Mehr news agency.

Security measures cited by transport ministry

"Following recent developments, the country's airspace will remain closed until 2 p.m. on Wednesday to ensure the security of passengers and flights," said Majid Akhavan, spokesperson for the transport ministry, in a statement issued late Tuesday.
