Sharjah 24 – SPA: Madinah, Saudi Arabia, welcomed the first group of pilgrims in a hurry on Sunday evening, following their completion of the Hajj rituals with ease and comfort, as granted by God Almighty. They arrived via the Haramain High Speed Railway and were able to visit the Prophet’s Mosque, pray there, and offer their greetings to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and his two companions (may God be pleased with them), marking the beginning of the post-Hajj season and completing their spiritual journey in peace and tranquility.

Operational plans

In conjunction with the arrival of the pilgrims, authorities responsible for Hajj operations in Madinah have begun implementing their operational plans for the second season. These plans anticipate the arrival of thousands more pilgrims in the coming days. They focus on strengthening services related to health, safety, security, and organization, ensuring a smooth and comfortable stay for all pilgrims.

Government and volunteer sectors have increased their preparedness, supporting reception centers, entry ports, and historical landmarks. Additionally, transportation, guidance, hospitality, and healthcare services have been expanded and intensified, operating within a comprehensive, 24/7 system.

Providing a convenient and safe environment

Authorities overseeing Hajj operations are committed to providing a safe and convenient environment for pilgrims. This effort reflects the high level of care and attention offered by the Kingdom to the Guests of God as they continue their journey of faith in Madinah after completing the Hajj.
