Sharjah24 - WAM: Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate from the Liberal Democratic Party, was elected President of the Republic of Korea on Wednesday, according to Yonhap News Agency.
Lee secured victory with 49.42 percent of the vote, defeating his conservative opponent Kim Moon-soo from the People Power Party, who garnered 41.15 percent.
