Strengthening GCC-ASEAN strategic cooperation
The GCC–ASEAN Summit will bring together leaders and heads of government from the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. The summit aims to deepen cooperation in key areas such as economic development, investment, political collaboration, and infrastructure. It will also explore strategic opportunities to elevate partnerships that align with the collective goals of prosperity and growth for the participating nations.
Advancing regional relations with China
The ASEAN-GCC-China Summit will focus on advancing strategic relations among the GCC, ASEAN, and China. The summit will emphasise regional economic integration, political coordination, and the pursuit of mutual interests that support long-term regional stability and prosperity.
High-level UAE participation
His Highness Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi is accompanied by an official delegation that includes Sheikh Khalid bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Vice Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah’s Investment and Development Office. Also joining the delegation are Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade; Ahmed Al Sayegh, Minister of State; and Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State. The delegation also features Khalil Mohammed Sharif Foulathi, a board member of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority; Dr Mubarak Saeed Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Malaysia; and Abdullah Salem Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Indonesia and ASEAN.
Their presence reflects the UAE’s ongoing commitment to enhancing international collaboration, promoting economic diplomacy, and building resilient multilateral ties with Asia and beyond.
