The exhibition will take place from May 29 to June 1 at Al Rahmaniya Centre. Notably, the number of participating families has increased compared to previous editions.
The exhibition will feature productive families from Sharjah and its affiliated branches across the Emirate, all of whom are enrolled in various Intaj packages, including “Mahrah” for traditional crafts, “Anaqah” for clothing and accessories, and “Ibda’a” for handmade crafts.
All products on display are specially curated to suit the Eid occasion.
On this occasion, Maryam Al Hammadi, Director of the Intaj Centre, stated: “It has become a tradition to organise exhibitions for our Intaj members during Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha, offering them the opportunity to showcase their distinctive, home-made products to the public. These items reflect elegant craftsmanship and a high level of quality. All products from the different participating packages undergo evaluation to measure their quality before being displayed, including assessments of raw materials used, the external appearance, and the inclusion of a product label on every item.”
She added: “All members also participate in training workshops provided by the center free of charge, which help them achieve the required quality standards and explore new ideas in the fields of fashion, sweets, accessories, and more. All products proudly carry the ‘Intaj’ brand label.”
Al Hammadi emphasised that participating in exhibitions helps promote these products and introduce them to the public, ultimately leading to the economic empowerment of families receiving social assistance. By supporting their home-based production efforts and enabling them to offer competitive products and services, the exhibitions contribute to improving their standard of living.
She also revealed that special offers will be available during the Eid Al Adha exhibition. For every purchase worth AED 300, shoppers will receive a shopping voucher sponsored by the Sharjah Cooperative Society.
