Manchester City held to goalless draw by relegated Southampton

Sharjah 24 – AFP: Manchester City was held to a 0-0 draw by Southampton in the 36th round of the English Premier League, ending their six-game winning streak across all competitions.

Top four finish at risk
With 65 points, City now risks dropping from third place if Newcastle or Chelsea (both on 63 points) win their matches on Sunday. Despite this stumble, City remains within the Champions League qualification zone, although pressure mounts from Nottingham Forest (61 points) and Aston Villa (60 points).

FA Cup final awaits
The draw comes just a week before City faces Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final, a key target in their season.
