She emphasised that Shurooq’s focus remains on tourism and hotel projects that reflect environmental, cultural, and heritage values, as well as those that support family tourism and sustainable development.
She added to Sharjah 24, “We witnessed a great turnout at the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) stand at the Arabian Travel Market exhibition, to view the latest projects presented by the authority in various cities in the Emirate of Sharjah."
The latest of these projects is the Rayaheen Retreat, which has been added to the ‘Sharjah Hospitality Collection’ and is set to open in the coming months. The project preserves 20 heritage houses built in traditional style using original materials. Located in Khorfakkan near the old market and beach, the site offers visitors a rich cultural and recreational experience.
Hessa Sultan concluded by inviting exhibition visitors to explore the Shurooq stand at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai to learn more about these distinctive tourism and hospitality offerings.
