Sharjah24: Shamsa Al Mazrouei, Head of the Wadi Al Helo Office at the Department of Culture, emphasised the department's commitment to organising activities that enrich knowledge and bring joy to children in the area. This includes puppet shows that travel to various cities and regions across Sharjah.

Educational Shows Held

On Wednesday, the Department of Culture in the Eastern Region hosted puppet shows for children in Wadi Al Helo, part of the city of Kalba. This event is part of a series of programs aimed at raising awareness and promoting cultural values within the community.

Student Participation Noted

In a statement to "Sharjah24," Al Mazrouei noted that the shows, held at Aisha bint Othman School for Cycle 2 and Secondary Education for Girls, attracted a significant number of students from the Wadi Al Helo area.

Creative Awareness Promoted

She explained that these puppet shows are a key part of the department’s ongoing efforts to deliver meaningful messages in an entertaining format that brings joy to children.

More Programs Planned

Al Mazrouei revealed that the shows are part of a broader cultural and artistic initiative, which includes poetry readings and the “Cultural Lounge” program, with additional initiatives planned for the area in the near future.
