Cholera death toll in Angola rises to 201

Since the start of the year, a total of 5,574 cholera cases have been recorded, with the disease spreading across 13 provinces in the country.

Origin of the outbreak

The outbreak initially began in the capital city, Luanda, which has seen the highest number of cases.

Previous death toll update

In late February, authorities reported 163 deaths and 4,582 infections, showing a significant increase in both fatalities and cases since then.
