SSC celebrates the graduates of the 2nd Wa’ed programme

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) celebrated, on Saturday, the graduation of the members of the second edition of Wa’ed programme, at the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH).

Certificates of completion

His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of SSC, handed over 51 participants certificates of completion of the programme in its three categories.

The event was attended by His Excellency Salem bin Howaiden, Chairman of Al Dhaid Club; His Excellency Abdullah Saleh Al Naqbi, Chairman of Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled; His Excellency Rashid Saeed Al Kindi, Chairman of Kalba Sports Club; His Excellency Ahmed Salem bin Hamouda, Chairman of Al Bataeh Club; His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa, Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn Club; His Excellency Humaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of Al Hamriyah Club; His Excellency Khalfan Al Musafari, Chairman of the Football Company at Al Bataeh Club; Dr. Nabil Mohammed bin Ashour, Vice Chairman of the programme, and members of the work team.

Programme Introduction

The ceremony began with a short film about the programme, then Dr. Nabil Mohammed bin Ashour delivered a speech in which he congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their future, whether they continued in the sports field or in another field, stressing that skills and experiences they acquired would be a great help to them in facing the challenges of the future.

Panel discussion

A panel discussion was held between representatives of the three categories of the programme, moderated by Saud Al Ketbi from Kalba Sports and Cultural Club, who completed the programme in the junior category, from the executive leadership category, Hamid Al Kindi from Sharjah International Marine Sports Club and Kalba Football Company, from the promising leadership category, Mayed Al Tunaiji from Al Dhaid Sports and Cultural Club, and from the emerging leadership category, Ahmed Al Kaabi from Al Hamriyah Sports and Cultural Club.

Launching the 3rd Wa’ed edition

Attendees enjoyed the panel discussion and greeted the panellist with applause. Certificates were handed over to graduates, and the programme’s work team was honoured, after which the third edition of the programme was launched.

It is worth mentioning that Wa’ed Programme team consists of His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Abdul Rahman bin Sultan as Chairman, Dr. Nabil Mohammed bin Ashour as Vice Chairman, and the members: Mohammed Ali bin Hammad, Imran Mohammed Al Jasmi, Maryam Saeed Al Nuaimi, Othman Bakhit Al Ghafli, Wafaa Saeed Faraj, Dr. Nawaf and Badan Suleiman.
