The event will present over 1,100 performances, including folk and musical acts, from 35 local, Arab, and international bands. These performances will be displayed across various platforms in the event square. Additionally, the festival will host a range of traditional craft activities, folk games, and the international school of storytelling.
Al Kindi also introduced the “Environments Programme,” showcasing different cultural settings, including mountainous, agricultural, Bedouin, and coastal environments. The “Arshan” programme will feature four distinct arbors focusing on traditional life, such as men’s councils, family life in the past, popular beliefs, and craftsmanship.
More than 150 craftsmen from across the world will participate in 33 craft workshops. A designated area for popular games will offer fun activities and tournaments for children, as well as a creative corner for young artists. The Palm Operetta at Al-Ayyam Theatre will highlight the unity between leadership and the people, commemorating the nation’s journey.
Sharjah Heritage Days will also feature an intellectual programme, including the launch of new books, a library with 1,001 titles, and 14 lectures at the Cultural Café. Al Kindi encouraged the public to participate in this exceptional cultural celebration.
