Khalid Al Midfa: 2nd Khorfakkan Marine Festival kicks off

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, announced the launch of the second edition of the Khorfakkan Marine Festival Friday evening at Khorfakkan Beach.

The event is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Executive Council.

Festival launch and attendance

Al Midfa expressed his gratitude for the presence of Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler's Office in Khorfakkan, along with numerous Sharjah government officials. He also noted the significant turnout on the first day, with visitors from various Arab and international communities attending the festival.

Participants and activities

The second edition of the festival will feature participants from 8 Arab and foreign countries, showcasing their maritime heritage through authentic handicrafts, marine sports events, and cultural and entertainment activities that reflect the identity of these nations. Al Midfa extended his wishes for a successful and enjoyable festival to all attendees.
