The accident resulted in two fatalities and several injuries.
With support from Saudi authorities, the injured individuals were flown to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Hospital in the UAE for further treatment, after receiving initial medical care at King Khalid Hospital in Hail. The bodies of the deceased were also repatriated.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its gratitude to the Saudi authorities for their cooperation, which was instrumental in ensuring the safe transport of the injured and facilitating the return of the deceased.
