Sharjah 24 – WAM: Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, expressed his pride in the UAE's sports achievements during his reception of Emirati world champion Salman Younis Al Awadhi on Wednesday.
Sheikh Ammar highlighted that the consistent success of the nation's athletes in international competitions reflects their determination, competitive spirit, and high efficiency. He attributed these accomplishments to the UAE's commitment to developing sports sectors and supporting initiatives that nurture young talents.
Sheikh Ammar praised Al Awadhi for his outstanding achievements, which include winning first place in the King of Thailand Jet Ski World Cup 2024, the Asian Championship rounds in Japan and Thailand, and second place in the World Champions Championship. He encouraged the champion to continue developing his skills and striving for excellence.
Al Awadhi, in turn, thanked Sheikh Ammar for the warm reception and emphasised that the UAE's support for sports talents plays a significant role in enabling Emiratis to secure top positions in global competitions.
