Sharjah 24 – Reuters: Roma advanced to the quarter-finals of the Italian Cup with a dominant 4-1 victory over Sampdoria. The hosts took control in the first half, leading 3-0 at the break. Ukrainian forward Artem Dovbyk opened the scoring with goals in the 9th and 19th minutes, followed by Tomas Baldanzi's strike in the 24th minute.
Sampdoria pulled one back in the second half, with Gerard Yepes scoring in the 61st minute to make it 3-1. However, Roma restored their three-goal lead when Uzbek forward Eldor Shomurodov found the net in the 79th minute.

Roma will now face a tough challenge in the quarter-finals, where they will meet Milan, who secured a commanding 6-1 win over Sassuolo.
